Welcome to week nine. This week is the bridge: we’re not in the home stretch yet, but we’re close. We’re just at that point where you can start to see the downhill slide. That feels great – but it’s important not to slide too much. So, let’s see if we can focus on a couple of things: firstly, continuing to read. The last couple of weeks have been focused on the writing project, and perhaps you have let your reading slide. If so, try to reconnect with reading. Take some time to read every day, if possible: even 15 or 20 minutes a day. Read for pleasure.

Also, there is a creative activity for this week. Do that creative activity, see how it goes. (It’s one of my favorites).

Speaking of creative practice: take a look at the Creative Habits tutorial. I make some suggestions about how to work, when to work, and why you might want to experiment.

The self-awareness project is due in three weeks. I will have more to say about the self-awareness project in the next two weeks; but if you want to remind yourself of what’s required, dive in and take a look.

In the meantime, keep going. Keep reading, keep working creatively. Help the boy in the snow.

If you get stuck, let me know.

If you’d like to do a deep dive into some of the related ideas from this week, here’s a short list of further resources:
